About John…..
“At this stage of my business career, it is a pleasure to apply all that I have learned in order to reach senior homeowners and help them attain their personal and financial goals.”
Since January 2005, John has worked in Connecticut with senior homeowners to help them secure a better life. He has earned the reputation of being knowledgeable, available, and sensitive to each client’s set of circumstances. His primary goal is to help senior homeowners, their family members, and their advisors understand the options available with reverse mortgages and to guide them along the way should they choose to proceed further. In August, 2024, John joined Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer.
John and his wife, Lesley have lived in Connecticut for 47 years. They moved to Branford in December 2023, where their condo is guarded by a 30 pound Schnoodle named Ziggy. Their son Sean graduated from the University of Michigan in 2008 and is a screenwriter in Los Angeles. Their daughter Kelly lost a lifelong battle with an undiagnosed rare disease in 2021at age 33. (No one thought she would live to age 3, except Lesley.)
A senior himself, John was born in New Rochelle, NY and graduated from Georgetown School of Foreign Service. The only foreign service he performed, however, was as a U.S. Army First Lieutenant in Military Intelligence, serving a tour in Vietnam. John remains a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
John’s dedication to helping others has been a hallmark of his life, from his service in the U.S. Army to his ongoing commitment to senior homeowners in Connecticut. As he continues his work at Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., John remains a trusted guide and advocate for those navigating the complexities of reverse mortgages. His personal experiences and deep roots in the community further underscore his compassionate approach to both his professional and personal life.
